Winter Aconite

Nestled in a shady spot under a nut tree.

Jaspyr, in the shade of a shrub.

A warm and sunny day - a bit too warm for this big guy. He had been mooching around, just footering, waiting for cuddles and attention, for most of the day, while the gardening progressed.

He would much rather sit and snuggle, and have a conversation about…politics 😀

Cool weather is here, many flowers are gone, tho maybe this flower box was empty even in summer this year. The old historic town of Mt. Holly needs a little sprucing up......but could the colors be any prettier!

Somebody robbed the Mimoza!

Klipspringer, Oreotragus oreotragus, enjoying a shady vantage point on a hot summer day. Klipspringers are a small species of African antelope whose name is derived from two Afrikaans words: Klip for rock and springer for leaper. The dark patches below their eyes are pheromone glands. Seen in the Kopje exhibit of Africa Rocks at the San Diego Zoo.
