Oh my shadow, please come to the light
I would show you my world,
Oh my shadow, please come to the light
We could read newspaper together
Oh my shadow, please come to the light
We could watch the episodes of human beings
My world is held in as much excitement as confusion
What is my world, when compared to yours that
awaits you

Mother Nature, we believe in you
The sun was shining, no clouds
From the north, all the cold wind
I was walking on the ground
It was much surprise to see the flowers
In the spirit of fire and ice.
Small purple flowers, unexpected

This was taken for a photography class project years ago. I took thousands of "shadow" pix which I have kept for pure pleasure. I visit them every once in a while.

Peaceful place at the Pond.
The bridge is a very peaceful place to look around before dinner.

"This is not suposed to make sense. . . . . . .
A dream repeating itself, night after night, its not scary but surprising. Does it reflect whats happening in life or is it some strange phenomena that some will never understand? Its cold, its hot, or can the breeze be felt if it even exists in the realm of the dream. Meeting people across the sea's our souls leave our bodies while we sleep, living their own life until the time we wake up is the time they enter again into our bodies so that we "humans" function. Robots, repeating everything day after day the same way but never the same. Everyone is unique yet the same. Hopes, Dreams, life, love, hate...
A hand is shaking me..
its time to wake up.."

Finished art, done in colored pencils on dirty gray colored board. I have decided to do a series of four portraits, using the word "Shadow" in the title. This is the second in the series. The next in the series will have a wolf theme. The original is no longer available.
Jan 7th - Playing with my shadow out on our deck in the late afternoon.... It likes to distract me from time to time.....
In this cuff, the colors I am using for the "Shadows" series seemed peaceful, quiet and somehow Northern - Danish or Norwegian. Perhaps I'm thinking of how Scandinavian traditional knitting looks.
At any rate - I named the piece, "Margrethe," which means, in Danish, German and Norwegian, "Pearl"
We all know she's there, lurking in the shadows waiting. Observing. Her presence is felt in the air. She searches for a soul, lost since time began. The light hits and she is seen.. Caught in the act.. this time she flee's without getting what she wants.. but when will she be back? i guess we have to wait and see..
Week 5#4
Feb 01 - Got up early to go get the Sunday Paper.... As I walked out of our building.. my shadow caught it's reflection in the window.... So we had to go back and get the camera.... My Shadow always gets the last say... %-)
