This one has a story behind it. I usually pose in a very specific way for my self portraits but this time I decided to use the self timer. I was waiting for it to go off, I was looking for something I wanted this picture to show. I am working around my shadow self and that's the exact thought I had on the exact moment when I looked in the lens and the picture was taken. Now you see me looking at my shadow self, scared as I should be. Very fascinating way to see myself in this light.

Today is my last full day here in Ohio...and I won't lie I'm thrilled. Being here has done nothing but depress me...and I plan on making the most of my last night in my own bed...oh my own room, how I will miss you. But only 2 more months of putting up with Teja and I'll be good to go...I hope.
Garry told me today that he found out Target got his application which was transfered from southern California and they forwarded it to two other Targets in the area. I swear he is working as hard as he can to get a job. He's applied to almost everything: 3 Targets, 3 Taco Bells, McDonalds, a casino, a grocery store, ect. (there are more I just can't remember) But he also said his cousin and her husband are willing to pay him to help build a porch for them. Meanwhile I'm trying to figure out how to get money myself. The only way I can get it now is through selling my work...problem is I don't think any of it is good enough to sell and I don't think anyone would buy it...and even if that wasn't true I don't know how. *sigh*
I swear it took me a good hour of taking failed pictures to get to this point...and even then I'm not as pleased as I expected. *sigh* I just can't win can I?
