SU-DAD Boeing B707-336C ZAS - Zarkani Air Service. Originally to BOAC as G-AYLT. Last with Sudanese State Aviation as ST-AQW (sldie scan - not taken by myself).
5Y-SIM Boeing B707-336C Simba Air Cargo. A 707 which flew with many carriers. This former BOAC classic after being with Simba had still a career going with carriers like Air Gulf Falcon, Kinshasa Airways and Spriti of Africa. She remains stored at Khartoum in the colors of her last operator Sudanes States Aviation (scan from my collection - not taken by myself).

The Boeing Collection
From a collection of some 500 Boeing slides that I've had scanned from my archives. Hope they will provide some enjoyment and nostalgia from a bygone age.
Here we have one of the British Airways fleet of Boeing 707s, photographed on one of my circuits around the inner perimeter road at London Heathrow - back in the 1980s when Heathrow was fairly free and easy to get around. Behind the aircraft are some of the huge tanks that made up the Fuel Farm, built on the site of an old farm and close to the sewage works which was always a treat to drive past :)
G-AYLT c/n 20517 Boeing 707-336C - a late delivery to BOAC in May 1971, absorbed into the British Airways fleet just three years later, and flew with the airline until 1981. The aircraft was then sold from the fleet, and flew under various exotic registrations during the later 1980s - 9Q-CLY, SU-DAD, VR-HKK, 9G-TWO, 5Y-SIM, 3D-SGG, 5Y-GFG, 3D-GFG, 5Y-BRV and finally ST-AQW with Sudanese States Aviation. Apparently, that aircraft is still flying!
