I nipped into St Francis tonight to help with the evening medication and while I was there I couldn't resist a little cuddle with my mate Rocky. Rocky is a character who likes to keep himself to himself most of the time. He doesn't overly like to mix with our other residents but he is very fond of human company, so it is always nice to sit and enjoy some fuss with him.

paulsjynx: I'm sorry I haven't been on instagram lately,it's trapping season for feral kittens and moms,we trapped a mom and two kittens 2 days ago. The mother was very wild so we spayed and released her,the two little ones a boy and a girl are in our home now ! The boy is very ill with an upper respiratory but is starting to respond to antibiotics and the have stopped biting me when handled ! Pics will be coming soon ! While I was at St Francis on Tuesday it was nice to see Rocky in The Potting Shed with Pendle. Rocky often keeps himself isolated from the other residents so it was good to see him mixing. Ace was also on the table with them too.

Rocky has now just got one more week in isolation. Due to his skin condition he has had to be moved to what we call the Egyptian Room. He has seen the vet today and it has been confirmed that all being well after one more week he will be able to join the other residents. Since he has been on his own Rocky has actually become a lot happier to have some fuss. Previously he would keep himself to himself and would never come forward for fuss. Let's hope he continues to enjoy his fuss.

sfhfc: @dmichelli yes with have a small yard area and corridor which is all securely fenced in. We have plans to expand this in the future which will be great for our residents but it depends on the charity's funds. 

I'm pleased to say that Rocky's skin condition has improved so much since the medication that he has been on. He is still in isolation but we are hopeful that he will return to the other residents in the next weeks or so.
