Here is Pendle who at the time of me taking this photo was more interested in the piece of chicken that I had in my other hand rather than posing for a picture. He did enjoy his little treat

I am pleased to say that Pendle is currently doing very well. Following a consultation with our vet he is still on some daily medication after the concern we had a few weeks ago regarding a possible tumour on his anal gland. Our volunteers monitor him daily to see how he is and he will be going back to the vets for another check up soon. I know one thing, Pendle is a real fighter

GRAY'S GALLERY Here is another post for my Gray's Gallery. This is sweet old Pendle who has been at St Francis since 1996. He is a gentle soul who adores to have some fuss. I just love the way he was perched on the sofa in this photo and his eyes look so adorable. Needless to say soon after this photo was taken I sat down and he was first on my knee for some fuss and loving.

sfhfc: @alex_savage hi Alex, it's just a weekly post of one of my fav photo's of our residents I started to do on our blog. As I post them on the blog I thought it would be nice to share them with our IG followers .

sfhfc: @cmantei I have only been involved at St Francis for about seven years so I'm afraid I don't know why he came in to us. He is a lovely natured cat so it's hard to imagine why anyone would have disowned him. We aren't a re-homing centre, so when a cat comes to St Francis they live out their days with us. In the past this has sometimes only been for a few months depending on the individual problems, although in many cases as seen from the photo's our residents can spend a very happy number of years with us .

Here is my final b&w photo edit of our beautiful Pendle. These were all taken one day last week while he was chilling out in the Garden Room.

I just want to say a massive thank you again to everyone of you who take the time to like and comment on our photo's. it is lovely to read some of the lovely words especially when we go through worrying health times with some if our residents. Thank you all so much for your support

While I was at St Francis on Tuesday it was nice to see Rocky in The Potting Shed with Pendle. Rocky often keeps himself isolated from the other residents so it was good to see him mixing. Ace was also on the table with them too.

Here are two black beauties, Shai and Pendle. The easiest way to tell them apart is Shai's white whiskers. I'm pleased to say that after his dental the other week Pendle is doing really well. He is actually even more affectionate now than he used to be .
