Here is Libby, she can be one of our more feisty ladies at St Francis. She has however really taken to one of our volunteers, Charlotte ( @clangho on IG ). Whenever Charlotte is at the hospice you can often see Libby following her about until she gets the fuss she wants.

Here's Libby looking so sweet and wanting some fuss, but you have to remember to be on your guard as Libby is a lady who can turn at any moment and will happily nip or scratch you. Although I have to say that Charlotte ( @clangho ), one of our volunteers seems to have the magic touch with her.....but I still don't trust her .

amandavonriot: I have a Lily that acts the same way. She looks just like Libby too. I learned that she doesn't like to be touched below the mid section. As long as I don't pet her along the whole length of her body she's just fine.

For me Libby is the hardest resident to photograph at SFHFC. She is quite an old girl but she moves so quickly. Every time I click the shutter she seems to move her head so very difficult to get her in focus. Here I managed to catch her looking up at the little toy mouse (off our Amazon wish list) which I was holding with my other hand.

Is three a crowd, not at St Francis. Here Bob, Ace and Libby are on the big new scratch-post which the residents had for Christmas. This. now takes pride of place in front of the main room window, so in the daytime the residents can often be seen keeping an eye on what's going on outside .

Here's a nice photo of Libby which I took yesterday while I was at St Francis. A big thank you goes out to our volunteers who are covering today and also helped us yesterday to make sure that the cats have all their needs seen to.

It's another rainy day here in the midlands in the UK. Libby is having a look out but had decided to stay huddled up in the scratch-post. I am pleased to say that Libby is doing well at the moment. She has responded well to her injection which she had the other week and has been checked over by our vet and has got the thumbs up at the moment .
