It's just very difficult to always separate at meal times, plus we always need to have biscuits down all of the time as we have a couple of thyroid cats and underweight cats. Diets are not easy in multi cat households. Good luck with yours

After Zak's earlier interruption I did manage to capture a few nice shots of Houdini playing. First with his feathers then he somehow managed to squeeze into a narrow box which they had out to play with. We are currently monitoring Houdini's weight so every bit of exercise helps .

Here are Houdini and Jiminy, two of our heavy weights at St Francis. It was good to see them enjoying a bit of exercise on the cat climber in our outside area. This is something I think they need to do a bit more of.

Our volunteers do also encourage them to play with many of the cat toys which they have, and I am told that Houdini is very keen on the laser mice which have been kindly bought for us off our Amazon wish list .

How to help St Francis Hospice for Cats without giving us a penny.

A while ago I posted about easysearch. Thank you to everyone who is now using this, but we would still like to see more people using it. Here's what to do if you would like to help .

1⃣ Simply change the search engine which you currently use to sfhfc.easysearch.org.uk . 2⃣ They will then give us half a pence for every successful search that you do . Please give it a go and help us raise some funds whilst doing what alot of you already do on Google or an equivalent search engine already.

What has Houdini seen up in the sky? A supporter of our charity has decided to help us raise money by doing a sponsored skydive. Sophie is a big cat lover and has three cats of her own. After hearing about our charity she wanted to do something to help us raise funds. The skydive will take place on 1st September 2012.

This is the first of two photo's I am posting of Solomon and Houdini. It is so nice to see them getting along well now. When Houdini came in to St Francis last year it took him a while to settle in as previously he had been a stray and was used to having his own space. Solomon used to stalk him and this didn't help Houdini get to grips with his new home. Thankfully as you can see here they are both quite happy in each others company now.

sfhfc: @car_la hi, all we know is that he was found as a stray. He was blood tested & was found to be FIV+. Due to this not many charities are able to help so he came to join us at St Francis. He's 3-4 years old.

Four months ago we never imagined we would see this. Solomon and Houdini sharing the same space. When Houdini first joined us Solomon gave him a bit of a hard time and it took a few months for him to settle in. Now he gets along realty well and was even nuzzling Solomon .
