It really was pretty excellent. Theme was community, and she went off
a nice passage from Ephesians and talked about how her church
community in SF is one of the things that made her want to stay. Also
talked about the inherent challenging/supporting duality of living in
an intentional community, and the responsibilities thereof. Really
fantastic.

This area is part of the Candlestick Point State Recreation Area. There's a lot of work to be done, and it is isolated from the rest of San Francisco. This was my first time here, even though I have lived in San Francisco since 1972. If you use an online map, you can search for the intersection of Griffith and Thomas to see where it is.

The Ferry Building is a terminal for ferries that travel across the San Francisco Bay and a shopping center located on The Embarcadero in San Francisco. On top of the building is a large clock tower, which can be seen from Market Street, a main thoroughfare of the city. Architecturally, the clock tower was modeled after the 12th century Giralda bell tower in Seville, Spain.

This is a version of Dirk Loechel's excellent size comparison chart of just about every SF spaceship of significance. Lots of folks on lots of sites asked about the Death Star, so I hacked those in using the best estimates of their sizes I could find. This version is about 1/4 the original poster's size. The original can be found at dirkloechel.deviantart.com/art/Size-Comparison-Science-Fi... .
