Since I've been stuck inside a lot lately, overstressed from virus paranoia, and now, literally prevented from going to my day job, I've been messing around using graphics editing software to make better graphics for my Etsy shop.
I've been using a combination of GIMP and Autodesk Sketchbook to make interesting and attractive thumbnail photos for things for sale in my shop.
It's quite relaxing and I'm quickly becoming more adept at using the software.

Cute skirt! by a designer I've never heard of. Pattern includes a sack-like top that looks like medical scrubs with complicated darts that don't add any shape.

April 2016: Gray denim
This apron was whipped up from some old jeans. Its super long wearing and easy to clean. You can find a free craft tutorial for this idea for reusing jeans on my blog: sharlzndollz.blogspot.com.au/2008/04/free-pattern-recycle...

While there is currently a "Barby's Fabrics" operating out of Niger, I'm considering it far more likely this is a Barby's Fabrics that operated in the "Mall in Columbia" in Columbia, MD.
(Though this pattern pre-dates the opening of the mall in 1971. Presumably Barby had a shop somewhere else. I found one reference to them being a chain in the DC area.)
