Bannon's was in St. Paul but I have no information.

Much better the 2nd time around. I excluded the elastic waistband and enlarged the pattern an inch from what I originally cut. It's also made from thrifted knit fabric.

This pattern is so easy, I should really have about 10 of these made.

Very rare clippings from newspapers/magazines for sewing patterns.

Someone cut the envelope up but the pattern is unused, not factory folded and is in good shape.

Loose fitting calf-length dress and kaftan with deep V-neckline.

This apron was whipped up from some old jeans. Its super long wearing and easy to clean. You can find a free craft tutorial for this idea for reusing jeans on my blog: sharlzndollz.blogspot.com.au/2008/04/free-pattern-recycle...

Pictorial Review Pattern Catalog, July 1928. RARE!!!

Pictorial Review magazine started producing their own sewing patterns around the turn of the century (1900). Simplicity bought Pictorial's pattern business in 1936, and the magazine merged with The Delineator (associated with the Butterick pattern company) in 1937. Delineator magazine folded in 1939.

Pictorial Patterns are rare to find today. If you find one, you can bet it is from before 1936, though some unverified evidence suggests Simplicity continued using the "Pictorial" name in Australia for a time (until 1950s?)
