One piece dress with two skirts. Dress has wide shaped collar with notched detail; set in sleeves, midriff sections and top stitching detail. Midriff has pointed end and button trim. View 1 dress has slim skirt with soft pleats at front waistline and back kick pleat. View 2 full skirt has soft inverted pleats. Purchased belt may be worn and buttons on midriff omitted. Great rockabilly party dress styles!
Wearing my Discover Something Novel pants and vest over a simple tank top. Pant fabric is a cross-dye linen and the cap-sleeve vest is a French cotton with interesting motifs that I strategically placed along with one panel of solid black.

I bought this pattern at a country flea market today for only a quarter! I love being able to sew, because I can get nice vintage patterns for so cheap. I hope I can make myself some nice pajamas from this pattern! I have some actual 50s vintage pajamas like these, but they are getting worn out and I don't want to wear them anymore... so maybe I can make my own.

Since I've been stuck inside a lot lately, overstressed from virus paranoia, and now, literally prevented from going to my day job, I've been messing around using graphics editing software to make better graphics for my Etsy shop.
I've been using a combination of GIMP and Autodesk Sketchbook to make interesting and attractive thumbnail photos for things for sale in my shop.
It's quite relaxing and I'm quickly becoming more adept at using the software.
I made the size small and extra-large Origami Bags from the Style Stitches book. I used Amy Butler Gothic Rose in burgundy and Amy Butler Garden Maze in red for the exterior, and the inside is a gray Riley Blake. I'm using these two to store my quilting rulers and zippers!

Teen Age One-Piece Dress: A wide square collar is featured on the the fitted bodice. The flared skirt joins the bodice at the natural waistline. Style 1 has short cuffed sleeves. Pockets, trimmed with contrasting pointed flaps, are featured on the skirt front. Style 2 is a sleeveless versions. Bias binding is used for trimming.
