From my first commissioned photo session. The lovely couple Joan Cornish and Hal Judge wanted some fun shots of themseleves, as well as some more serious ones Hal could use for promo sorta stuff (he's a write and poet). The other housemate (also a writer and I'll get more details soon) also wanted some usable headshots (will credit name when I get it!!!). All 3 are incredibly fun people! 4 if you include Rusty the dog! :)

Traffic lights out of order? No - this is a trick photo. I placed my camera on The Love Bridge and pull the trigger, keeping my camera stable. After 4 seconds the lights changed and I captured the red, yellow and green light. It's so easy to cheat someone today ;)

This is one of my favourites. I discovered this accidentally: i was setting up for another light on top shot, but i had laid my flash and umbrella hand rig to my left behind the fillboard while i fiddled my camera...then just took the shot forgetting i was supposed to hold the light above: and i got this.
The white fill card is actually GOBOing the flash which is just resting on the floor behind the card. its shooting into the umbrella, but thats probably not doing very much cause it was facing the wall haha. So what light got around the fill card has accented the "3" and the chrome and the buttons VERY well.
I photoshopped this only very little, to clean up the reflection in the chrome. Otherwise, hardly touched it. what a pleasant accident!!
strobist (of sorts): 580EXII into white shoot through umbrella, lying haphazardly on the floor to camera left, pointing in random direction, at 1/4 power, triggered remotely by absentminded photographer. large white fill card to camera left as unintentional GOBO.
