This Photo for me

Photographed by Nikon D90

My two dogs are glued to me 24/7. Sometimes it can be a HUGE hinderance!! I'm trying to prepare for a one-year-old who will arrive in a couple of hours for photos. New camera...new lights...new studio room. Moving it was a lot of work yesterday; I gave up my master bedroom. Oh well, the guest room is just as comfortable, who needs a giant room just to sleep.

AgriFeD (Agriculture, Femmes et Développement) Program in the Democratic Republic of the Congo. Training session on cassava growing, fortification, transformation, and business skills for women entrepreneurs, market sellers and SGBV survivors at the University of Kinshasa AgriFeD training center. At the end of the 5-day session, participants know how to grow cassava, produce bread-making cassava flour from the roots and bake a variety of products that range from pizza dough to bread, pasta and cakes. DRC produces 15 million tons of cassava per year, and Congolese are the first consumers in the world.

Cassava flour is also a primary ingredient for young children food, unfortunately, it does not meet their nutritional requirements, resulting in chronic malnutrition. The biofortification helps increase Cassava's Vitamin A content, a vitamin essential to strengthen the immune system and reduce child blindness and maternal mortality.
