We had to get out the umbrellas for a bit as the rain picked up, but that definitely didn't stop these two from enjoying themselves.

The case for shooting in RAW?
I was shooting RAW in Aperture Priority mode and the got shot up top.
I brought the exposure down, upped the clarity, and did some sharpening in Lightroom and you get the somewhat flat, unimpressive edit on bottom - but there's detail.
I don't think this picture would salvage the same with JPG.
Sat for a two hour session. Felt like nothing after the first session of four hours! The shading near the bird will be gray, my skin is still red and agitated. And the moon isn't done. She just got the base layer down and will finish it next time.

This is a band that I have been working with designing their CD material. They needed some band photos as well, so we went out and played around a little in the local alleyway.
Strobist:
This was taken outside in an alley around noon. I underexposed the ambient light and used 3 AlienBee B800 heads at full power to provide main lights.
