More of the little balls on her head were colored in. Some blue was added around her butt. A little bit of shadow added under her feet, but it's hard to tell. It looks a lot more dramatic, and I'm especially pleased with what was accomplished this session. I think it helps to have an agenda/plan written down so you remember what you want done to your tattoo, and it gets checked off.
By the way, the artist, Brian Fuentes, suggested that this be put into the running at a tattoo convention. We'll see how things work out, schedule-wise.
Last Sunday we had a nice painting-session at The Cave Berlin. 9 artists collaborated together in one room.

A personable organizer from Canada offered to do the live coaching session with the speaker who is president of the Austin chapter of the Coach Federation. He is said to be the coach's coach. We got a good laugh when she corrected him for asking a complex question when he had just told us not to. She chose an apt topic—how to drum up volunteers to keep her organization going. (She is on the nominating committee and is a board member.)
The day before there was a speed coaching session and this fellow coached me. Though I'm not big on the coaching phenomena because it assumes that the client has all the answers and I would rather just be given a sign from the Goddess, he was very good and I left feeling that I was doing exactly what I should be doing, but I had a better idea of what that was. Thinking of what he said, while on the plane home, I found myself writing the opening act of a post-appocalyptic play about a former bank teller hoarding worthless cash from a collapsed currency.
At another session on the first day I got the results from a test for Emotional Intelligence given by another speaker and coach. It basically said that I had a very high opinion of myself, but didn't like to follow other people's rules. Nothing new about that, but I didn't think it would be so obvious. Plus the qualities which indicated the uncooperative part was described as a combination of a weakness in empathy and social responsibility (the latter had nothing to do with saving the planet, but was more about responsibility to your corporation or organization). So it seemed to coincide with my recent desire to cut people's head off. He suggested I think about being more cooperative with the group.
The group as a whole scored high on assertiveness and low on problem solving which he said meant that we shoot from the hip, but resort to the same bag of tricks. This gave us much to discuss later and since we all think so highly of ourselves the general consensus was that he didn't know our profession and was thinking more in terms of corporate employees. And besides if one trick didn't work we would quickly offer another which may be our way of being efficient.
I scored high on assertiveness and problem solving which he told me meant that I was good at thinking step by step, but could be prone to over-thinking and the assertiveness could be seen as arrogant. Test given by this outfit for a fee: equniversity.com/aboutus.html
There was also another test, given by a "positive psychologist" and coach (an African American woman with excessive number of degrees), which showed us what our core strengths were. We were all much happier with that test, so didn't discuss it much. But I did get a laugh when I saw that the core strength of modesty and humility was at the bottom of my chart, followed by kindness and generosity, then industry, dilligence and perseverance. So even though I was high on curiosity, creativity, critical thinking and even social intelligence, I was still a dedicated slacker who thinks highly of herself while pursuing my addiction to knowing it all. Kim scored almost the opposite of me on both tests coming out high on empathy and kindness which has resulted in her going above and beyond for this organization. She's done nothing but volunteer and that's on top of serving demanding high end clients. We had a few laughs over this. I teased her about getting a life and I will give some thought to being more cooperative with the group. So it was probably a good thing that I found myself volunteering to help on the conference committee for next year.
