This was taken at Deception Pass in Washington. I've always enjoyed B&W photos with some thing high lighted and never really knew how to do it until now. This is really the first one that I did right, from Poulsbo Marina which was just playing with colors. I hope all of you enjoy and I'm sure I'll change this picture a few times to correct items I see. Thanks!!
A small waterfall in Connecticut, Silver falls drops about 11'. On this day, I dodged light raindrops as I photographed the falls. www.ctwaterfalls.com/falls/main.php?Silver1
I found this going through some old pictures and I found it was bracketed which at that time I had no idea I could make an HDR photo out of that.
Many thanks to all of you who View, Comment and Fave My Photos... It is greatly appreciated...

tu cauce y tu correr.
Recorrer esta vereda
satisface a quien se toma
su tiempo para descansar
la mirada entre colores
prestos a desvanecer y volar.
El sol que todo lo anima
sabe sentirse feliz
entre hojas y entre agua
jugando con luz y reflejos
ante ese tu lento fluir.
Anímate, da un paseo,
y toma el otoño en tus ojos,
lentamente y sin prisas,
como el agua cuando pasa
entre hojas que se van.

Isla del Sol is the biggest island in Lake Titicaca on the Bolivian side. As we walked up the hill on the south side of the island in the village Yumani, we saw this man soaking up the sun just before sunset.

I've got that right, don't I?
A few have mentioned they never tire of fall foliage shots and I reckon we'll continue to test that theory for a while. The winds over the last few days have done their annual duty, yet the oaks endure as they tend to do, the last to give up the ghost...tho some only do so with the arrival of new buds in the spring, somehow hanging on throughout our trying winter.
Another very nice day for late October, so off we go to the canoe to enjoy a relatively rare windless day.
There is almost no snow in Austria now. This image shows how it should be and how it used to be.
Merry Christmas and most importantly peace to all of you!
... and I can't resist posting one more from the same spot. This one was taken a few years ago, with the Canon, and I love how different it is ...
Really should put a bit more effort into my titles ;)
Thanks for all the lovely comments and favs on yesterday's Agapanthus shot and have a good week everyone.
