This sequence of eight shots shows an osprey swooping down to the bank of a tidal inlet in Ding Darling National Wildlife Refuge on Sanibal Island, Florida. The bird seems to have grabbed some vegetation and mud; it swept past me and then flew on to its nest 200 yards down the road.
