Was taken some shot in the back yard and decided to go for take shots of wasp. Once there I hear big noise and ID one Vespa Crabro

Estaba sacando unas fotos en la huerta y decidí ir a sacar unas fotos a avispas. Cuando llegué oí el sonido fuerte de un avispón (Vespa Crabro).

The nautilus shell is an example of fibonacci sequence found in nature.

Red damsel fly mating sequence. They really do seem to have quite a lot of trouble getting the abdomen alignment correct. This pair actually started trying on a horizontal leaf and the female just could not get her abdomen past the leaf. I had the time to get my camera whilst the pair eventually decided to try a more sloping leaf.

Success at last !
