Chromatic Sequence Live @ Kinky Kong Athens Greece 15 May 2008

No audio yet. soon to come.

From a sequence of photographs taken on August 23, 2009 at Portland Head Light in Cape Elizabeth, Maine.

Pictures from the day before, showing the difference, are also in this stream. The day before was foggy and had some waves, but this was the dramatic day.

Numbers of people lined the shore all along the coast of Maine to watch the seas. I was lucky to be caught in one large wave, which crashed down over my head (you can see a picture of it coming towards me in this stream).

I get excited about the strangest things sometimes.

Part of the secuence called "Limerence" I made for a school project. Escuela Activa de Fotografía. Mexico City.

I created a series of posters for a group exhibition in Bournemouth. On a horizontal, vertical and diagonal axis, three connecting vectors measure constant volume. At each stage of the sequence, each vector is divided once through its axis, reconfigured and then recomposed to achieve balance.

I imagine the poem that would accompany this.

Chromatic Sequence Live @ Kinky Kong Athens Greece 15 May 2008

Different sequences providing varied camera movement enabled me to make some interesting compositions which I had not expected.

The top collage is a from footage of a follow shot with a slow pan. The tracking camera movement stretches the composition and elongates the box that Geoff jumped onto creating an almost panoramic image.

The bottom collage was created with stills from a whip pan. In addition I used a fish eye lens which is evident from distortion in the centre of the collage.

Conditioning my hair is the second event of the Haynes_WK10 group series. Images was taken at the same distance with the sunlight coming through the house without indoor lighting.

Sequence of Lyla walking down some rail road tracks. If you look really closely the SF skyline is in the background of each shot.

My first attempt at stitching DSLR photos to make a timelapse was successful however, this is just a practise and looking to add greater composition and length to my next few attempts

... but nope, not diving this time.

The fountain goes through a sequence of water flows.

I was delighted to see the little boy "conducting" the fountain. I was about to ask if he would conduct the whole sequence for me, but his parents called him away as they had to leave.
