Just some photoshop fun

From the foundation studio, this is a one week project where students examine sequences in spatial experiences, and architectural vocabulary. How do spaces unfold, and become delineated with light? What role does an architectural vocabulary play in indentifying uses of spaces? How can tectonic form provide cues to activities and use?

This image shows how Mark uses light to lead users through the spaces of the model. The physical destinations keep a sense of mystery, but the light allows users to understand they should keep moving to see more! The foamcore works to reflect the light, and the cardboard vocabulary gives an interesting surface for the light to delineate.

First try and didn't quite work, maybe if I shot it at a different angle I could have added the other parts of the sequence without them overlapping.

A sequence of pictures taking watching the Sun rise this morning. It's a rare event to see the sunrise this time of the year. Usually I'm at school already. This morning we had a delayed opening due to some heavy snow the night before.

I designed a Spore creature while I was at E3, and the nice people at EA were kind enough to make it into a little 3-D figurine like the ones they had sitting around their booth and ship it to me. It has two heads, one bird-like and the other more like a moose, with large fighting arms.
