I'm sorry I haven't been well enough to post for some time. Just before we went on holiday I had a nasty fall. I fell on my right arm which was already very painful. I'm still pacing myself a lot.

Thank you for your friendship and comments etc. Due to chronic poor health I'm unable to take on new contacts but do my best to reply to comments. More of my shots can be seen on

A ship passes the light house late in the afternoon as a man watches on the right. The Oregon Coast has a number of old light houses that guided ships up and down the coast.

Elmer is a 1987 Silverado . He is from Boise Idaho and is my new old guy special. I am about 50/50 on naming vehicles but for some reason this was the name that came to mind.

I probably would not have this seen this bird , except for the flock of crows really upset about its presence.

Tito's Hacienda, along Blue Island Avenue in Pilsen, was one of several liquor establishments where patrons could dance with "Cantina girls" for a modest fee.

Now, with zoning changes and gentrification, places such as this have become extinct in the new Pilsen.

Back in the 1990's, this place would be hopping on a Friday or Saturday night. Finding people who had passed out in front of Titio's was a regular occurrence, and once in a while the question of who'd get the last dance would be decided with a knife or a broken bottle. Still, I cannot help but feel a sense of loss, seeing this place shut down...

1987 Chevrolet Silverado . Getting tired of cold gray days, ice and dead branches. Just needed a glimpse of green. I try to keep Elmer away from winters icy and salty grip. Sunny days are coming soon.
