Our family had to have some sort of vacation holiday and chose an area of the country that was less densely populated and with lower COVID-19 rates. It also happened to include North Dakota, a state none of us had been to and marks state #49 for Tamara. We had a wonderful trip, got labeled as "Covid-sensitive" at a restaurant (which we now bear as a badge of honor), and got to see and explore a lot of places that in a 'normal' year we probably would have missed out on.
This is a sensitive plant. If you rub the leaves with your fingers, they will draw up close to the stem. The red spot is a flower petal from another nearby plant that apparently fell onto it during the rain.

Randy & Berenicci present a retrospective of their critically acclaimed video and installation works spanning the last two and a half decades of the 20th century that focuses on the concepts of catastrophe, ritual and rebirth. This will be the first compilation of an extraordinary body of work to be presented in the city in which it was created.
RANDY & BERENICCI / Randy Gledhill (Vancouver) & Berenicci Hershorn (Toronto) have, in an oeuvre spanning 30 years, produced a unique, evolving body of site-specific and time-based art (performance, installation, video, public sculpture). They have produced and presented both their solo and collaborative art internationally with an extensive history of recognition in art venues around the world. They are pioneers of a style of work that combines sensitive and playful references to site with visionary metaphors.
Thıs old mosque in Tehran has been all but completely overrun wıth the trappıngs of a modern cıty, note partıcularly the airconditioning units hanging off the walls to the left.
This outcome is created using Adobe Photoshop. The text is distorted in a spiral way as this shows that people who are sensitive can be emotionally hurt easily therefore the text represents these people emotions. This shows my basic understanding of typography and the meaning behind text.
