Countryliner DP35 (T337 TVM) runs past the shops in Send, on a Woking-bound 462.
This was into the last two weeks of Countryliner operation. Surrey CC Bus Review phase 2 saw Arriva take over the services from 5th September 2011, and, from 15th October after Elm Bridge was re-opened, the routes were diverted to serve Ripley once more, and the 562 withdrawn. (In fact a couple of morning/late afternoon journeys did start serving Ripley from 5th September, to cover gaps in the 562.)

The Satellite phone has been unreliable for the past year, so we bought a SPOT to let our friends and family know we are OK and where we are on these trips.
This crew had been on deployment for nine months, and both stopped in to see family for the weekend.

I love how thrifting sometimes sends me on little research expeditions.
When I bought this small tablecloth, I had no idea it was made from something called "Cactus Cloth". I'm still not sure if "Cactus Cloth" is made from cactus fibers, or if it's simply a coarsely woven cotton, but it's got a great look and feel, and I love the screen printed images all over it, reminders of a simpler time.

I was very much surprised to see this as I thought Grupo Senda only operated in the US using their Turimex Internacional service and not any of their other bus lines.

La Liga de Tenis La Amistad 2009 ya tiene Campeones con nombre propio, la jornada de Sábado dejó cuatro grandes partidos en cuatro sendas finales, con una importante afluencia de publico en el graderío de las pistas del C.T. Tamarasit, los partidos se fueron desarrollando entre la emoción y la tensión de las grandes finales "La Amistad".
La conclusión del torneo nº 19 que organiza la Web del Tenis La Amistad dejó un gran sabor de boca tanto a participantes como a organizadores y sponsors, la alta participación registrada durante todo el campeonato y la exquisita deportividad que reinó durante todo el torneo son signos de que el circuito "La Amistad" goza de una salud excelente y con unas expectativas esperanzadoras para el futuro del circuito.
El gran colofón de esta Liga 2009 lo pondrá la cena de clausura que se celebrará el próximo Viernes día 3 de Julio, como cada año la organización ha preparado una gran fiesta para celebrar el éxito del torneo y realizar la entrega de trofeos a todos los participantes y campeones, una noche que estará llena de sorpresas.
FINAL MASTERS
Jesús María Suárez y Jonathan Pérez volvían a encontrarse después de dos años en una final Masters de la Liga de Tenis La Amistad en un partido que se ha convertido ya en un clásico del circuito.
Jonathan Pérez comenzó titubeante en su juego y Jesús Mª se adelantó en el marcador al inicio del encuentro con un 3/0, poco a poco Jonathan se fue rehaciendo en el marcador, pero aun así Jesús gozó de una considerable ventaja para llevarse el primer set al disfrutar de un 5/3 y servicio para cerrar el partido, pero tras una serie de ventajas alternativas en este juego, Jonathan logró el break y juego a juego logró forzar el tie-break, de esa guisa se decidió el primer set con una ajustadísima muerte súbita que acabó ganando Jonathan 11/9.
La segunda manga quedó sin historia, con un Jonathan lanzado hacia la victoria y un Jesús tocado física y mentalmente tras el gran esfuerzo sin premio realizado en la primera manga, el partido se desdibujó y el buen momento físico y tenístico de Jonathan le dio el triunfo y su tercer titulo Masters de Liga de Tenis La Amistad
FINAL CHALLENGERS
Oliver A. Becker Y Rafa González se veían las caras de nuevo en una final Challenger de Liga de Tenis La Amistad, rememorando la final Challenger de la temporada 2006 de la que Oliver salió victorioso.
Pero Rafa quería sacarse la espinita del 2006 y comenzó el partido arrollador, mandando siempre en el juego y anulando por completo el poderío físico de Oliver, que aunque lo intentó en todo momento por activa y por pasiva no pudo nunca entrar en el partido. A pesar de no conseguir la victoria, Oliver se mostró satisfecho de haber logrado este segundo puesto en el cuadro Challenger y su presencia en la final es un resultado que confirma su gran progresión en los últimos años en el circuito "La Amistad"
En el otro lado, con esta victoria y tras dos años de sequía tenística, "La Roca" vuelve a estar en el top ten del circuito "La Amistad" y es firme candidato a estar en la Copa Masters La Amistad 2009 que disputaran a final de año los 8 primeros clasificados del Ranking.
FINAL FUTURES
Fran Suárez se impuso en la final Futures a Álvaro Hurtado en un partido que comenzó con un set en el que los nervios y la tensión paralizaron a Álvaro Hurtado que cedió la primera manga fácilmente, en el segundo set Álvaro recuperó la calma y se reencontró con su juego poniendo las cosas muy difíciles al "Murray" del circuito "La Amistad" que se adjudico el partido en un apretadísimo tie-break.
Una valiosa victoria de Fran Suárez, uno de los jugadores veteranos del que volvía al circuito tras varios años apartado de la raqueta, aun así, "El Murray" de La Amistad demostró que atesora una gran calidad tenística y un sinfín de recursos técnicos que le deberían llevar a conseguir metas mas altas en el futuro.
Álvaro Hurtado logra su segundo subcampeonato en un torneo La Amistad y seguro que ya está pensando que aunque se le han escapado dos finales, a la tercera será la vencida.
FINAL ROOKIES
La pista central del C.T. Tamarasit fue el escenario de la final mas igualada, y es que Jose Mª Ramon y Goyo Castellano se dejaron la piel en la pista en las casi dos horas que duró un encuentro muy abierto que pudo ganar cualquiera.
El primer set se decidió en un dramático tie-break que ganó Goyo Castellano tras salvar tres bolas de sets cuando el marcador reflejaba 6/3 en la muerte súbita a favor de Jose Mª, pero Castellano jugó valiente y superó el bache ganando la primera manga. En el segundo set las cosas seguían apretadas y solo un break hizo que Castellano lograse su primer titulo "La Amistad", como recompensa al buen tenis que lleva practicando este año 2009.
Jose Mª Ramón logró su segundo subcampeonato de la temporada, hay que recordar que Jose Mª quedo Subcampeón en la Consolación de La Friendly Cup de este año junto a su compañero Héctor Suárez.

Nearly four years ago, the club to which I and several like minded friends belong, the Potteries Omnibus Preservation Society, organised a visit to First PMT's Newcastle under Lyme garage. The purpose of which was to mark it's imminent closure. Several preserved buses were taken along, and with the Company's co-operation, many photographic memories were made and re-kindled. Newcastle garage at one time also boasted the famous 'Four in Hand' restaurant, a popular coach stop for services to and from the north west in the pre Motorway era. Although First sold the garage prior to this visit, they then had to rent it back and it remains open to this day, indeed the bulk of Crewe garage has just closed instead with some of the latter's allocation transferring here.

A raça Pug, o cachorro do MIB, já apareceu em inúmeros filmes e animações. Seu jeitinho rabugento na verdade esconde uma personalidade dócil. Contudo, são bem mais do que isso.
O Pug é uma raça procurada por pessoas que preferem cães de porte pequeno, sendo mais fáceis para cuidados simples, como limpeza e passeio. O cachorro do MIB pode, inclusive, ser criado em apartamentos e locais similares, onde normalmente não são possíveis outras raças.
O cachorro do MIB tem a cabeça enorme e a cara achatada, com o focinho curto e rugas bem profundas. Os olhos são grandes, escuros e expressivos, e as orelhas finas e caídas. Seus pelos são lisos e curtos, mesmo na cauda, que é pequena e enrolada graciosamente. A cor da pelagem varia entre o amarelo, preto e o cinza, em tons claros. A média de peso é de 7 kg.

* My name is Miss. Zen Ngaih Cing. I have never attending at Sunday School
at my childhood because we stayed at the family Army line since my father
is government Army. I did not know about the gospel message. I was grown up
among the Buddhists.
Then we moved to Kalemyo. I started to hear the Gospel message. I am
interested to believe Christ as my personal Savior and Lord through some of
some believers activities. And I studied how to believe God, how to worship
God and attended training. By the way in March 1989, by the word of God
through Ps 51:5, Isa 1:18, Eph 2:8,9 I was saved and redeemed. I realized
myself as a sinful person. I believed that God loved and sent His son to
die for the sinner of this world. I accepted Christ as my personal Savior
and lord.
In 1987, I stayed at Kanpetlet. And start working among the animist and
Buddhists. I love to tell to the lost of souls and wanted to tell the
goodness of God by the will of the Holy Spirit. I commit my life to God to
love as His will. In Jan 1988, I have attended Evangelical Fellowship
Training. I know more about the cost of Soul.
I prayed to God to serve Him more than before. By the Grace, He led me to
Bible College to studied and I got B.A.B.S in 1993.
Through my experience and the conviction of the Holy Spirit. I feel let to
do God's works more and more in the future. This is my sincere desire and
decision at attempt to do great thing. I do greatly except that God would
do so to me.

* Doing personal evangelism, distributing tracts and teaching in school sun

* I have serve as a missionary in the past among the unreached people, and
many people become saved.

* Since through my missionary works and personal evangelism many people
have been saved, but I could not help them except teaching and preaching to
them, through God's word.

willing to listen and every thing become news for them, at the same time

* In the past I work with Baptist, but now I work a lone doing personal
evangelism

* My support come from God through believer who has the same mind with me
in evangelizing of the gospel, but the help some time not always so I have
been praying for the regular support in order to do more works in
witnessing of the gospel.
