This lady was selling jewellery on the street in Trier... the only street seller we saw in the city.
She said she loved the quietness, since the tourists no longer came to the city and enjoyed selling her jewellery to local people.
She was quite happy to be photographed...luckily for me!

One of the major differences between Thailand and Vietnam seems to be the sale of cut flowers. It isn't much of a thing in Thailand, except in the centre of Bangkok, whereas in Vietnam we saw cut flower sellers like these ladies almost everywhere. Not sure if it was a Christmas/ New Year thing?
I saw this child on the street who was selling sweets with his parents who were coming to buy other things. It was a holiday, and street vendors take advantage of the day to sell their wares and in the evenings or at night spend time with their families.
