In my three reflections photos I chose to do both a literal and conceptual theme. This picture is of me but I am split into two pieces. Most the time I feel like I live two different lives. Whether it be between work and school, 23 or old married woman, or grown up or young. I felt like I was successful at representing this.
Self-reflection and introspection have been the main basis to this last selfie album, Things You Can Have. Over the course of this semester I have been instructed to reflect a lot on myself and the things I desire, all while in class learning about thinking and looking at things from a different point of view. An understanding on the fact that everyone thinks and views things differently can completely change a person and how they react to things throughout their life. This is something that I have gotten away from in this class, and happens to be something I am trying to work on doing in my own life. I have greatly enjoyed this class because I feel it has helped me open my third eye more in multiple ways. I knew I was going walk away from this class with some new knowledge, but I didn’t expect it to be this impacting and relatable to what I am going through in my individual life.
I love photography. Ironically, I used to hate camera for no real reason. I don't know how to describe myself, hopefully the picture will explain itself.
