My name is Ruggero, for all Ruggy. Since two years, with the collective ZTLWake Up! I open and and take care of abandoned spaces to give them life, opposing the gray color of the abandonment to the colours of creativity and selfmanagement. For this reason the police headquarters in Treviso made me object of persecution with and unjustified expulsion, an order that prevents me from entering the city where I live, I have my friends and I develop my political activity.
The police, however, does not know that these attempts to intimidate me serve only to make me more consciuous that I am right.
I claim with pride my disobedience actions, aware that I am a disturbing person for statement.
Not a step back!

Mi chiamo Ruggero, per tutti Ruggy. Da due anni con il collettivo ZTL Wake Up! apro e occupo spazi abbandonati per ridargli vita, opponendo al grigiore dell'abbandono il colore della progettualità e dell'autogestione. Per questo la questura di Treviso mi ha affibbiato un ingiustificato foglio di via che mi impedisce di entrare nella città dove vivo, ho i miei amici e svolgo la mia attività politica. La questura però non sa che questi tentativi di intimidazione hanno come unico risultato quello di farmi capire quanto sia giusta la mia battaglia. Rivendico con orgoglio le mie azioni di disobbedienza, consapevole di essere elemento di disturbo per il potere. Non un passo indietro!

The dawning of a new day.
With every sunrise we get another shot at perfecting our lives, another fresh chance to be all we can possibly be. Another chance to say mahalo, thank you.
This was the view greeting me outside my bedroom window when I got up this morning, just after 5:30am.
Ka lā hiki ola. It is the dawning of a new day, and it’s your day.
