This is one of a set of landscape photos we did at 11 pm till about 1 am. (evenings are long up here!)
Dave encouraged us to try our various lenses for certain effects. So here I tried a selfie. I prefocused, switched to manual so it would not move, set timer to 10 seconds and voila!
And just so you know: I REFUSE TO PUCKER!
Taken in Conway, North Wales on one of my visits to the cottage I've rented a few times.
Always very warm and comfortable. Nice to go back one day.
Helping our son Josh and his fiancee Sasha shop for his suit in a Kensington Market clothing shop in Toronto. This selfie, taken inside the front window of the shop, was a test of camera settings and I was pleased with the way the photos furned out. (That's Georgia with her backpack behind my shoulder.)
My face is reflected in the catalogue of the "Selfie to Self-Expression" exhibition at the Saatchi Gallery.
It's a very good exhibition, well worth seeing.
