SLD #385-404. The male skin and shape are from Perfectionist (#387). Self Expressions (#392) usually provides sex toys in their hunt gifts. They're nicely made, but really, I have my one nice bed, thankyouverymuch, I don't need to be able to have sex on everything in my house. So it was a pleasant surprise to receive men's and women's clothing -- good men's and women's clothing -- in this prize. Thanks, Self Expressions! Sometimes I like my clothes to be on! I'm also wielding a hand cannon from Terminal 3 Airship Dock (#398). I haven't tested it to see what it shoots, but it looks cool and makes neat noises.
If you're new to viewing this series of pics, here's what it's all about: I'm a hunt addict, and when I unpack, I do approximately 20 at a time to see what kind of random combinations of gifts end up together. Items I unpack later replace items I unpack earlier, both on my body (as much as can fit) and on the ground (up to 50 prims rezzed at once). And I can't help throwing in some commentary.
Shot just before I began to pack up my mask collection. I have handmade papier mache masks from Venice, masks from New Orleans, and handmade ones from Atlanta to New Mexico to Seattle.
Well as I have discovered, whenever I feel upset or overwhelmed, photography is my cure. So here's yet another selfie. Things have been pretty crazy lately. Like good old Wayne once said "Live is a mo**er fucking roller coaster and then it drops". Guess he knew what he was talking about.
Gone though some changes lately. Some big ones, you know. But I hope I have found at least one permanent thing in my life now. Most thankful for that luck to come my way, the right words just won't come if I needed to describe it. (:

I picked up some old newspapers and tried creating this flower by doodling irregular circles using a purple highlighter which I later smudged with a wet paintbrush. After it dried, I doodled over with a black fine point sign pen. I tried to be as free form as I can with the whole piece, cutting in an abstract fashion as well. The leaves and the stem were more deliberate after I found a rather huge graphic in blue and green which I used and then pasted to an extra sheet and then painted in outline with green watercolor. For the background, I picked a plain section of the newspaper which I painted in blue, pasted on to a support/backing sheet and then I trimmed and then created my collage.
The word art came much, much later as I couldn't decide what exactly I wanted to put there. BELIEVE somehow came naturally as I just sat and reflected on what one word I would want to put on t his particular piece, my favorite to date. I tried to find scripture about how God takes care of the flowers and so we must not worry about how He takes care of us, but I found it a little over reaching to actually put that in. So I let it be.
Thus ends my January, and on to the next challenge, where, I hope to create 28 hearts.

Catching up from yesterday. We packed, after work, until about 9:30pm. I was just too tired to do a photo yesterday... so, this sessions for yesterday. We are to the point, in our packing, that we are going to be "camping out". The entire kitchen is packed. Oy!
A collection of Street Art from New Brighton Park in East Vancouver, BC. This park parallels the waterfront to the West of the Iron Worker's Memorial Bridge. It is nestled beside a grain terminal.
