"This outfit—it’s just so me!" I laughed as someone commented on my photo. It’s a gorgeous ensemble, really: deep teal and dark blue layers of fabric forming sort of a ruffled skirt effect with delicate lace detail along the edges. The flowing sleeves add to it all, and the rich tones are wonderfully balanced by the lighter colored belt and accents around the neckline.
It's an outfit that feels so playful! It’s not always been easy letting go of expectations but embracing my feminine side like this—it feels liberating. Walking past those who may have a quick glance or comment? It’s worth it for the joy I feel inside. The best part is, they often surprise you with their support and kindness. To live authentically? Best decision ever!"
There are evenings when you don’t try to be anything… you simply are.
Tonight began softly and quietly with rosé, sunset, and calm in my body — and ended with fur over my shoulders, high heels, and Susan in full bloom.
Not as a role.
Not as a fantasy.
But as the feeling of something I have carried within me for so many years, slowly becoming real.
A little soft, a little flirtatious, a little in love with the moment…
and perhaps also a little in love with the woman I am becoming.

I love Canada. I may not agree with this gent's messages but he is free to express his ideas as he sees fit. When I took these, passers-by noticed me dropping my bike on the side of the road, throwing off my mittens and scrambling for my camera to capture this moment. Who knows what they must have thought! This truck's driver stepped on the accelerator when he noticed my efforts to photograph his colorful truck. What must he have been thinking, I wonder?
