"‘Sweet Temptation’ was hand formed by my three young children who already display individual differences in the ability to resist temptation (demonstrated by the varying number of sweets consumed during the making of this image!).
The ability to exhibit self-control in an environment abundant with temptation may be a key factor in preventing over eating and obesity, with tendencies toward impulsivity and immediacy making this very difficult for some people.
Discovering how to measure the exact form of impulsivity that underlies over eating can inform us of the best strategies to help currently over-weight people enhance self-control, and focus preventative measures so that they can target vulnerable individuals at a young age.
My research not only excites me intellectually but is vital to me as a parent responsible for the long term health of my children."

Without telling you all about it, I will say Saturday’s Modern Day Drama is really something great to see. It is really encouraging to bring families together, and at the end, there are very few dry eyes in the house.
my sister comes down in the middle of the night 5 or 6 times and just eats. then she complains about being fat. this is me ensuring that there is still food for the other three people who live in the house and that we don't have to put up with her bitching
Our regular protestors standing just across the street from the convention center, mumbling something into a microphone that no one can hear clearly from across the street. They stop a few people to try to twist their ears. I am sure in their own way they are sincere, but when they act so argumentative like that, it seems kind of comical.

We were sitting in the disabled section again with Pam in the wheelchair, and as an aficionado and collector of canes, I really admired this sister’s beautiful twisted wood cane she was using. She said her doctor had offered her $5000 for it and she turned him down. I did not have $6000 on me to offer her so I kept my mouth shut. I guess I should not be investing in canes when they will not be needed in the future; I should only be investing in umbrellas. Isn’t that what we will need for the 1000-year reign?

"A spring doesn't gush fresh water one day and brackish the next, does it? Apple trees don't bear strawberries, do they? Raspberry bushes don't bear apples, do they? You're not going to dip into a polluted mud hole and get a cup of clear, cool water, are you?"
This is what the series will be (much less violent and shocking, more subtle). Its a 3 week series, each background color and foreground/background image will change. Red is more unsettling and connotes anger, etc. This isn't the final layout, but the overall imagery (I still have to add typography and other treatments).
