I'm feeling quite positive currently; I got my feedback at Uni for my last brief, and found out that I got a 1:1! It's made me feel so much self-assurance that the directions I choose to go in for my work is right for me, and suitable for client briefs too!
Anyway, I need to give a lot of love to Kee Boutique right now, as I was whining on my facebook that I didn't know what to wear in my self portraits, so she suggested I wear one of her dresses which she had loaned me for an editorial! I'm forever thankful, I love this dress, and I am verrrry inclined to buy one off her etsy store as a treat to myself for not flunking my Uni brief!
I didn't intend to do a self portrait but many of you have, so I caved in and did it. I tried to get my sweet black cat, Izzy, in it as well, but she was not having any part of it. I will get better pics of her soon.

WOW, thanks to everyone for all the favorites and comments on my last photo, they're much appreciated! And that's awesome that I was on the explore page, thank you all for letting me know :)

Is it knowledge of what we are that we lack, or courage to be what we know we are?
i rarely post a self portrait but i really like the tone in this image. there are so many convex mirrors here in taiwan that i always seem destined to try my luck with a shot or two. some mirrors are so badly dented that they give a unique distortion, but not this one. i also played with the lr6 processing in regards to color. fun….

Inspired by Shelly, I will also start a series with self-portraits. I do love human touch in pictures, but I'm too shy to ask for modelling and too honest to publish candid or stolen shots. So let me get out of my own comfort zone and start model myself.
I think we should all get a few quality portraits wearing masks during this pandemic. These are crazy times that will be historically memorable for the rest of our lives.
Again playing with harsh lighting. A few quick edits with Snapseed again. Having a really good time with this.
(198/366) Self Heal "Prunella vulgaris" growing in our garden.
This pretty little flower has long been regarded to have medicinal virtues as its name would suggest. In the seventeenth century Nicholas Culpeper wrote of it as a wound herb 'whereby when you are hurt you may heal yourself'. It is now know to have anti-allergenic constituents and to act as an anti-inflammatory agent.
