It's here!! My copy of Surgical Strike for the Sega CD 32X has finally arrived after a long trip from Brazil. A custom reproduction by @vgdbbr, this comes with a glossy hard box to hold everything, a pressed CD of the 32X version of the game (which was only released in Brazil), plus instruction manual, poster and an info/history card.

Except for a tear in the top of the box which was covered up by a sticker, production quality looks great. The game ISO was also released by the person who made these repros, but I've been waiting for the full release to try it out and compare video quality against the regular SegaCD one.

Time for an odd Pioneer LaserActive promo, The 'Mr. J.H. Long' Video. This is probably the weirdest promotional video I have seen, since from what I was able to understand it promotes the LaserActive as like alien technology and integrates the promo along with a mock interview with someone recounting their abduction experience.

I've had the VHS for awhile and got it pretty cheap, but I recently came across the actual laserdisc version as well. It's a smaller 8" LD with all the content on it, but the sleeve is pretty basic compared to the VHS which is kind of a shame. More Popful Mail madness! This is a Falcom desk calendar from 1994 where each month has a different photo on it from some Falcom property. The composition for it looks pretty similar to what was included in the Falcom Special Box '94 audio collection: Ys, Xanadu, LoH and so on. A neat little find, I'm not if it was given out as a promotional item or what, there's no barcode on it that I could see.
