Предыдущие визиты Лайбах я успешно пропустил — в РФ они приезжали ещё в ДК Горбунова, зимой 1994 — в рамках Occupied Europe NATO Tour 1994-95, в СПб начали с ЛДМ в 1997, с переосмысления рок-оперы Jesus Christ Superstar @ Andrew Lloyd Webber, потом два раза был Порт: 2005 с каверами и 2007 с гимнами — наслышан об этих выступлениях, далее Главклуб 2011, с программой из раннего творчества и наконец саунтдтрек к sci-fi опусу Iron Sky в Авроре 2013, в туре We Come in Peace.
В 2018 ожидаемый аншлаг в Опере, где «все тоже дико круто угорели, например» под #electro #martial #industrial с #avant переходами была представлена новая пластинка — The Sound of Music, 2018 с их версией саундтрека одноимённого муз фильма 1965 года, с хитом So Long, Farewell (получившего 5 Оскаров и снятого по бродвейскому мюзиклу, в основе которого книга — The Story of the Trapp Family Singers) — ведь когда дискография насчитывает >20 разноплановых альбомов, начало которой затеряно во Вселенной 80-х, то играть уже можно всё что угодно.
Интересно было бы услышать 32-х минутную версию Macbeth (1990), но исполнять её они конечно не стали, Across The Universe голосом клавишницы (ранее известной как Mina Špiler, сейчас там кажется кто-то другой, но это не точно) тоже не помешала бы, как и God Is God (приходите в другой раз) — совсем скоро вы узнаете что вас ждёт в Москве, а в СПб после Rossiya отцы спели на бис Sympathy for the Devil (The Rolling Stones, 1968) и финишировали вторым бисом с Leben heißt Leben — индустриальным кавером на мегахит австрийской группы Opus — Live Is Life (1985), так что не только лишь все оказались в экстазе и так.

так бывает — думаешь что уже никогда не увидишь какую-то группу, как вдруг она приезжает на Примаверу (и приходится туда ехать) и уж точно она никогда не приедет в Россию, но вот они уже здесь, с учётом что это был их первый концерт в СПб, то всё прошло более чем ок! заодно можно всех поздравить с открытием нового заведения в Севкабеле, все любят сюда ходить и даже зимой, надеюсь орги доведут его до ума по звуку и бару — остаётся лишь пожелать крутых привозов!

штош, трижды я посмотрел My Bloody Valentine, Slowdive и JAMC, дважды зацепил Stereolab, Lush, The Radio Dept., Primal Scream, Dead Can Dance и Belle and Sebastian, поймал The Cure, Ride, Krawtwerk, The Human League и Swervedriver... +500 других групп на 27 фестах в EU и стольких же в СПб — почти все свои любимые группы и когда-нибудь я опубликую полный список, ха-ха — правда остались ещё reunion'ы The Smiths с Cocteau Twins, главный epic fail пока что — пропуск Faith No More, но в наши дни возможно всё.

но именно на этой фотке - тот самый журнал WIRE (с музыкальными итогами за 2009), с которым у нас внезапно сошлись первые места в best_of_2009, когда мы не сговариваясь поставили на первое место Broadcast and The Focus Group - Investigate Witch Cults of the Radio Age, и я его там конечно же купил, но потом оставил у знакомой (Даша привет).

мало того, Broadcast заявили на Primavera Sound 2010, но их вокалистка внезапно погибла, увы, Patricia Anne "Trish" Keenan (September 28, 1968–January 14, 2011 /RIP, и Broadcast я так и не посмотрел ни разу, очень жаль! люблю их до сих пор.
но на Примаверу (она стала второй из семи, кхм) мы всё равно поехали, потому что эти их лайнапыыы, в 2010 там играли: Wire, Gary Numan, Pixies, Cold Cave, A Sunny Day In Glasgow, Low, Tortoise, The Fall, Beach House (тогда ещё малоизвестные) и Pavement(!) с Charlatans и The Field с Marc Almond, а также Orbital и Hope Sandoval с Fuck Buttons и Broken Social Scene, например (+ ещё 150 групп).
