The Fountain of Youth? If you swim in the Emerald Pool the water is supposed to add 10 years to an adventurer's life. I did feel 10 years younger after jumping in!

In my opinion, Titou Gorge is the top "must see" in Dominica!
To get to this underground waterfall, you must first swim a short distance through a series of natural "rooms and ponds" formed by high cliff walls canopied by rainforest trees that just barely let sunlight through. This deep, narrow gorge that you swim through was formed as molten lava cooled and split apart.
These photos show the waterfall at the end of the swim, as well as the view looking back the way we swam in. My camera (iPhone) was in a waterproof bag during the swim, so sadly no photos of the middle of the gorge.

This was one of the first waterfalls I arrived to during my waterfall chase. I was worried some of these trails might have been closed due to it being winter time. I lit up with excitement when I arrived as I was taken aback with the view of the 130 foot plunge down below of the captivating icy falls. Dingmans Falls is the second highest waterfall in the state of Pennsylvania.

This was by far the most difficult waterfall to get to, but was definitely one of the more fun ones despite the challenge! I had to trek across the water 6 times and lucked out with dead trees in the water! So very thankful I didn't fall in! 😁
