Halloween on Hallow Green 2022 is organised by the Hallow Village Community Group.
Hallow Village Community Group is a growing body of volunteers whose aim is to make life here in one of Worcestershire's loveliest villages even better and we extend an invitation to you to help us to fulfil this aim by giving the Group your support.
The aim of the Group is to promote community activity in the village. The objectives are to involve all villagers; to look at all aspects of village life; to facilitate community events and to enhance communication and co-operation between village groups. The Group is not all about organising social events (although it does some of this) it also seeks to get things done in and around the village.

The Library of Occidental College seeks to make known its unique collection of materials regarding the Japanese American relocation and evacuation during World War II. These historical documents were preserved through the efforts of President Remsen DuBois Bird and College Librarian, Elizabeth McCloy, in the mid-1940’s. An initial grant from the John Randolph Haynes and Dora Haynes Foundation’s Archival Grants Program in 2004 partially funds the Library’s digital archive project to preserve, digitize and distribute a selection of the letters, materials and newspapers published in the Japanese internment camps during World War II.
The online digital archive, launched in June 2005, offers a representative selection of these historic materials in digital formats for research. The complete collection of primary materials is preserved in the Special Collections department of the Library and is available for research by appointment.

What a great show listening to the songs of yesteryear, tunes of Evelyn's and my youth as presented by "The Australian Seekers Tribute Show" in the Twin Towns Showroom. This is a "must see" show with the added bonus being the incredible voice of Jayne Henry and the brilliant harmonies of the group.

It's true that pretty much any landscape you could ever want is within a 4 hour drive of Denver.
Colorado puts no limits on one's creativity.
That being said, sand in my camera is a hindrance, and cleaning it is quite tedious. Shattered supports and faulty screws are also irritating.
So, anyway, here it is; the third installment in the Crown series. It seems as if this is developing into an examination of creation and the human psyche. Creation is a task that forces us to ruminate on our past experiences and observations, as well as our urges, all in order to solve a problem or to learn something, be that about the world around us or about ourselves. This has become distinctly clear as my engineering classes have advanced. I'm slowly beginning to see that all the things I do, be that science, engineering, or art, are all bound together in my mind, all purposed with making life more enjoyable and fulfilling.
And certainly, hiking among 700ft tall dunes in hurricane force winds, all while toting a 5ft tall crown is one of the more enjoyable things I've done in a while (seriously!).
Many thanks to Calin, who allowed me to man my camera while he balanced that monstrosity on his shoulders. That makes this my first model shot in I-can't-remember-how-long. I must say, it was much speedier this way; he might be showing up again in future shots.
