This past weekend I was lucky enough to be assigned to helping out the COOLEST Sport Photography Event of the Year: Sports Shooter Academy 2019!
On Shooting Day 3, I went to Santa Anita Race Track to try my hand at hose racing.
Here I was struck by the way the light was caressing the leather of the saddle.

One of the many superlatives of Sports Shooter Academy workshops is getting the opportunity to cover #sports I don't usually cover. This year it was #cycling at the world-class VELO Sports Center. I tried to make some panning shots for the first time as well and I came away with this shot. I look forward to trying again sooner than later.
