Yeah, I'm digging through the archives.

Most cameras were disabled in a very noticable way, leaving the cut wires dangling around the lens.

I shot a hyperlapse of the Admin building at work this morning. After lunch I had to drive to Dallas for yet another dental appointment. This time I worked with Jeff directly. He machine-gunned me with novocaine and hopefully got my problem filling taking care of for good! I’ve had that thing redone like...4 times now? My mouth didn’t get its feeling back until about five hours after the procedure.

Tonight I was staring at the Model X I’d decided was mine when a little chat window popped up on the website, as if I’d been standing there long enough that somebody needed to step in and ask if I was OK. After a brief, informative conversation, I reserved my Model X. Now it’s real, people! Now I just need to sell my stock and get all my money into one pile for the downpayment. Not five minutes after hitting the button, Levi called to congratulate me. He says that I should be able to take delivery within a couple of weeks! Oh man. So stoked. I’m gonna have to make an extra effort to shut up about it at work or else it’s all I’m gonna be able to talk about.

Manged to get my camera lense inside one of the fences erected and coupled with security cameras and detectors all the way around the Richmond Olympic Oval, which is totally closed to the public until ticket holders enter in a month.

I've started to get interested in security cameras. I may start a project photographing them: my own little stand against the Big Brother state, and also plain curiousity about these objects which have become such a ubiquitous part of everyday life.

here's looking at you, kid.

Took this on a walk around London last Monday. Unfortunately (or fortunately?!) I didn't stop for a curry here.

I was 'commissioned' to take some photos for my work site - Unfortunately this one wasn't chosen (its one of my favs from the ones I took)...perhaps a little too negative and shows the grittier side of London? ;)

Brick Lane

Brick Lane (Bengali: ব্রিক লেন) is a street in the London Borough of Tower Hamlets, in the East End of London. It runs from Swanfield Street in the northern part of Bethnal Green, crosses Bethnal Green Road, passes through Spitalfields and is linked to Whitechapel High Street to the south by the short stretch of Osborn Street. Today, it is the heart of the city's Bangladeshi-Sylheti community and is known to some as Banglatown.

The European Parliament is festooned with security cameras. Somewhere in the building there must be a room full of monitors and people who've seen it all a hundred times before.
