For hours before the arrival of Air Force One, the entire area is repeatedly buzzed by Army Reserve helicopters at low level, searching for any potential threats or problems.
The Joint Security Area (JSA), also known as the Truce Village or Panmunjom, is where North and South Korea get together for diplomatic discussions. The border passes through two blue buildings.

We feel very safe in Egypt. The government wants to encourage more tourism and assigns security guards to accompany tourist busses on their daily outings. He stays with us all day and a couple of times, he even got out of the bus to stop traffic for us, so our bus could get through. Yesterday, as we approached the city and traffic was going very slowly during a busy time, a police car came up from behind us and gave us a police escort to our hotel. They came back today and helped manage traffic as we went to our different sites, with their sirens and lights. Traffic is very crazy here, but we get through!
