When were we taking pictures of this magnificent building , security guard showed up and told us that :
“They don't want you to take pictures”
I asked : " Why ? "
- " Because you are private properties and don't have a permission "
I asked : " Where the “private” property ends " and I moved tripod 3'.
Than she told us that we were still under the camera surveillance .
I asked “ Why do you film me – I didn't sign permission "
She just walked away.
So in my opinion – I take images of the building ( that was build with heavy government involvement ) and they take pictures of me – so the both parties are not happy but I think that is even trade. By the way – this image was taken from the “public” side.

The Dutch masterpieces gallery at the Metropolitan Museum of Art was buzzing with excitement. The security guard seemed to have her eyes on me as I studied "Girl With a Pearl Earring". Suddenly the guard walked toward me with a stern expression, but instead of telling me to step back from the painting, she asked if I had the time. As soon as I said, "it's 3:05," another guard came and took her place. I guess it was time for a break.
