In order for the rescue raft to approach the stranded victim, safety ropes had to be attached to the it's stern (rear) to stop the current from dragging it down the river, whilst a guide rope, attached to the port (front) of the raft, was used to help guide it toward the helpless victim. Once they'd finished with the hosepipe, that is.

Refugee Union formed to secure humane rights and treatment of refugees in Hong Kong. Here they are marching to government headquarters to deliver a petition. Hong Kong is a sort of "black hole" for refugees— people fleeing their country of origin due to life-threatening conditions created by war, natural disaster, religious or political persecution, or personal threats often wait for up to 10 years for their refugee status applications to be processed in Hong Kong. During this time it is illegal for them to work, so people are completely reliant on the insufficient (and corrupt) services contracted by the government.

The defective third traction motor that was removed from Amtrak's Locomotive 158 was getting strapped and secured down onto a semi-truck flatbed trailer within Canadian National Railway's small Material Yard in Brookhaven, Mississippi on Wednesday, February 13, 2019.

The bracket is secured with the bottom screw from the hood latch. I used dielectric grease for each contact on the harness. Secured the supertones to the bracket and then wiretied the harness down the center of the latch support. I had to do some hand bending to align the supertones to my liking. Pretty easy and they were perfectly aligned in minutes.

This weekly Thursday meet during the summer is based at the sea front in the sea side resort of Weston Super Mare, North Somerset, UK.
It is organised by Members of the British legion, all bike donate £1 to enter and all proceeds go the charity The Poppy Appeal.
Images can be obtained for a donation of £5 per image, the full image will then be e-mailed to you.
Either send donation via paypal stating the images wanted to bikenightphotos@btinternet.com or send a e-mail to bikenightphotos@btinternet.com with your request and a paypal invoice will be e-mailed to you allowing you to make a secure donation via debit/credit card.
