Nik was right, this was the Eiffel Tower equivalent in terms of folks getting photographed in front of it at the Functional Art show.
This year (2016) has been designated by Pope Francis as "the Year of Mercy" to remind everyone - especially Christians - of God's mercy. Rather than wait for people to come to churches, the Mercy Bus in Salford visited town centres and shopping centres around the diocese during Lent.
People who wish to see a priest or other Christian representatives have been able to drop in.
However last Saturday I was at a the Bethel Convention Centre in Birmingham and found - the Mercy Bus!
On Saturday night we attended 2nd Saturdays in Downtown Tucson, there were tons of people, shopping dining and entertainment. There was also a Mermaid Parade. It's a really fun event!

Bike Month
We are riding from St. Mary's Park and heading to the Randall's Island to visit and learn about the Randall's Island Urban Farm located on the Wards Meadow Loop in New York City, NY.
The family-friendly ride are for all ages, all fitness levels and supporting tandem bikes, bike carriers, cargo bikes and handcycles.
The Intandem Bikes will provide FREE bike lessons and rides for people with disabilities. The team, will provide additional information about the bicycle program which occurs on Thursday evenings in Central Park.
Norma Colon, Iyengar Yoga & Iyengar Yoga National Association of US and founder of Yoga Norma will provide FREE outdoor yoga for adults. The yoga class welcomes the deaf community, ASL Interpreter provided upon request.

Bike to East Harlem (Central Park)
We are organizing a group bike ride from St Mary’s Park to tour East Harlem to bike Central Park loop.
The ride will utilize the Willis Ave bike path into East Harlem and merges to the 2nd Ave protected bike path to Central Park. The ride will demonstrate how connectivity routes such as this, help physical connectedness between the Bronx and East Harlem communities.

Free Helmet Fitting & Distribution Event (Bronx)
DOT will provide free bike helmets, fittings and distribution in St. Mary's Park, Mott Haven. Helmets are available for all ages. You must be present to get a helmet and you must learn how to properly fit and wear it before you receive it. Adults over 18 receiving a helmet must sign a waiver, and a parent or legal guardian must be present to sign a waiver for children under age 18.

Bike the Bronx and Paddle the Bronx River!
The bike ride will start from St Mary's Park to Concrete Plant Park where participates will paddle starting and ending at Concrete Plant Park.
