In his work Video as a Suburban Condition Martijn Hendriks investigates the relation between what is socially conceivable and our experience of urban public space. Using found videos from YouTube and comparable internet sites he shows how people deal with their immediate environment.

A lot of people mock the SL pregnancy thing, but they shouldn't be so quick to judge. I have had several SL pregnancies. I'm in SL with my RL husband, and in RL I am infertile. This was the best way to gain that particular RL dream, since I couldn't have kids in RL.
The benefit of SL is, you can make them grow however fast/slow you want! As a result, Ashlan's turning 15 this year, instead of 3. ;)

In the tradition of PARK, with his installation O.T.S. (Open Televisie Station) Jaap de Jonge has remixed a number of PARK videos in an extraordinary manner. The work is comprised of a hooked-up glass cabinet containing thirty-two glass balls. These act as prisms to distort the image, creating new images and image combinations.

This is a true story that happened to me yesterday - one of the most glitchy days of SL.
I was at home building some Xmas decoration when I noticed another Avatar within my home. About 10m away from me. I tried very hard to reach her with my camera to eject her (hate it to have uninvited guests) but she disappeared from minimap and radar before I could find her. As I said: SL was laggy and my house has three floors ;)
I continued to do my work, but about five min later I looked up and saw the tag of this girl near the staircase. I went closer and here she was standing on the stairs without saying a word. I ejected her twice, even banned her - she stayed watching me! I opened her profile - she was not online! She was not visible on my radar or map, nor could she be detected by my security tools - but she was quite visible to me, blocking my staircase for more than an hour!!! Than I crashed also and when I relogged she was gone...
