Eversince I started blogging and taking my Flickr seriously this past month-ish I’ve been experimenting with different SL photography and editing styles. I draw inspiration from many things but mostly what I wear so when I saw these BADASS triangular shades from Nevada Park the creative juices in my noggin went BERZERK so I had to have em!
Kinda in-line with my previous post on diversity (even though the pic was thotty lol), I wanted to show an explosion of colors that mirrored USA’s red white & blue on the left side. Cause no matter what color you are or whatever you identify with or as, if you be you then you be cool boo! ❤️
And thanks to bang Hikaru for helping with the annoying ambient occlusion problem I had turns out you’re right it was a windlight problem HAHA 🙈

'JUST POLLY' by Polly Reina, the April 2025 exhibition @ The Annex of Nitroglobus.
I truly feel proud to show Polly's images at the walls of my gallery, her first ever exhibition in SL.
I have been following Polly's work on Flickr for quite a while.
It really resonates with me, and it's great that I am able to bring her art to a wider audience. Polly's style – with its personal touch and mood – really emphasizes how unique and special her work is.
When I asked Polly to exhibit her work at The Annex of Nitroglobus she was reluctant at first and It took quite some effort and time to convince her. The title of the exhibition 'JUST POLLY' captures the simplicity and authenticity of her work without overcomplicating things.

Description of the exhibition by the artist:
"Just Polly" is an intimate journey of self-representation in secondlife, translating emotions, moods, and identity into this space. Capturing my avatar in diverse themes and styles in expressive compositions, where each image is a reflection of feeling, movement, and presence, brought to life through carefully chosen poses from Ckey Poses, Del May, and Le Poppycock.
This showcase is not just about visual aesthetics but about the silent dialogue between self-perception and my expression. It’s about stepping into different versions of myself, embracing vulnerability, confidence, and the unspoken emotions woven into every image.
A heartfelt thank you to Dido for the invitation to share this journey, and to Clary, who never spoke of how hard it might be, just quietly pushed me forward. This exhibition wouldn’t exist without that silent encouragement from my friends, who reminded me that sometimes, all we need is a little push to dive into our own depths.
This exhibition is not just about capturing an image; it’s about feeling it.
