A small cottage of sorts under a large weeping willow (Salix babylonica, Salicaceae) where the Fox River meets Lake Butte des Morts on the edge of Terrell's Island Preserve in the unincorporated community of Rivermoor, Town of Winneconne, Winnebago County, Wisconsin.
Shot from the start of the loop trail looking over the lotus pond and cattail marsh within the preserve.

Another piece of our puzzle coming together. I played with a bit of florals, decor, and landscaping. Still playing with the inside.

Their smiles say it all. I was gone for 2 minutes to get some more cream cheese and the bagels were gone! It had to have been the beagles, those scamps.
This photograph captures a simple yet peaceful scene. Taken from the balcony of room 114 at Lauswolt in Beetsterszwaag late yesterday afternoon, it showcases a view of the expansive green garden. Despite its unassuming nature, this room has held a special place in my heart for the past ten years whenever I traveled to the north of the Netherlands. Spending several days a week here, the familiar room and its tranquil outlook have become a comforting second home to me β Landgoed Lauswolt, Beetsterszwaag, Friesland, the Netherlands

Casal Novo is a schist village located on the northern slopes of the Serra da LousΓ£, part of the Schist Villages network and classified as part of the Natura 2000 network. The houses, traditionally built with schist slabs, are organized in terraces along a main axis, complemented by cobbled streets that connect with historic villages such as Talasnal and Chiqueiro. This project to enhance rural heritage, which began in the 2000s, highlights the community's adaptation to the rugged terrain, using the natural terraces to build and grow vines and other plants. Although permanently uninhabited since 1981, the houses are often used as second homes. The name βCasal Novoβ refers to its origins as a rural nucleus in the Modern Age, being a viewing platform for the town of LousΓ£ and its castle, making it a place of interest for visitors exploring the old mountain paths.

Had an absolute blast photographing the men and women's basketball games at varsity for UWLSU! Here is one of my favourite shot from the day!
Getting lost in Tokyo. Er, not quite. Heading back home, though that doesn`t sound as coolγ^^
(I apologize, as I will not be getting to any streams in the next couple of weeks as my time now is spent waking up, shooting, then sleeping...with the odd meal in between. And I love it!γThe time spent shooting of course. I am unusually guilt-ridden, so feel free not to leave a comment, hehe ^^γI will be catching up after returning home, I promise.)
Have a great weekend!
While I was out on Wednesday I found loads more Passion flowers. Some were too far away to get a really clear shot in one garden, but these were in the driveway of a house that was obviously closed for the Winter.
Taking a few more risks than I'd usually take I walked down the drive to get some better photos. The plant is just growing wild but there was also plenty of fruit on it, but only a few ready for picking.
Better viewed large.
Thank you for your favourites. :O)

Caroline had planned to spend the day gathering nuts for the upcoming winter. She happened into a small clearing and was surprised to see a tiny cottage. It was slightly overgrown, but someone had gathered a pile of hedge apples by the door. "What a pleasant retreat from the hustle and bustle.", she thought to herself.
