Year 1500 to 1600 of the Second Age -
"Three Rings for the Elven-kings under the sky,
Seven for the Dwarf-lords in their halls of stone,
Nine for Mortal Men doomed to die,
One for the Dark Lord on his dark throne
In the Land of Mordor where the Shadows lie.
One Ring to rule them all, One Ring to find them,
One Ring to bring them all and in the darkness bind them
In the Land of Mordor where the Shadows lie."
The Lord of Gifts, a fair elf by the name of Annatar, decieved the Noldor Elves of Eregion, counselling them in arts and magic, learning them how to forge the Rings of Power. Ten years after the creation of the Rings, Annatar, Sauron the deciever, forged the One Ring to control the bearers of the other 19 rings. As soon as Sauron put on the ring, the elves became aware of the betrayal, hid the rings, and thus started the War of the Elves and Sauron. The Siege of Eregion marks the beginning of the war. This will be the next episode on Norlego's account, coming this Saturday. Be sure to follow all the builders tagged. Finally we would like to thank Blaine's World for sponsoring our collaboration!
Year 1697-1700 of the Second Age - The Siege of Imladris
Following the devastating assault on Eregion, caused by Sauron and his minions, Elrond fled to Imladris, or Rivendell, a valley north of the Misty Mountains. Knowing that Elrond would try to ambush him from behind, Sauron sent a small force of orcs to Rivendell to end lay waste to the refuge. Elrond, along with the remaining forces of Eregion and the Elves of Lindon. The elves eventually destroyed their enemies, and managed to crush Sauron's forces along with a great host of Numenoreans, ending the War of the Elves and Sauron at the Battle of the Gwathló. When the war ended, Eregion was gone, and most of Eriador destroyed.

My third Lego year (2019) has come to an end.
I'm not the fastest builder out there, but i don't mind. I had an amazing year in terms of Lego and also for me personal.
To sum up a couple of 2019 highlights for me:
+ We're expecting our first baby boy in may 2020
+ We bought a new house that will be finished in nov/dec 2020. Looking forward to having a bigger lego room and especially finally some space to actually display some sets/mocs.
+ I received some very cool physical & digital lego publications that i'm proud of.
+ I won 'Build of the Year' (2018) on arch brick for a second time in a row (not nominated this year, good luck to all the competitors that are).
+ Met some amazing new builders in person and online. I love being part of the lego community. Thx for that!
+ Participated in my very first collab #Secondage for the win :)
+ Last but definitely not least; I joined RebelLug this year. Thx for having me guys!
I don't know what 2020 will bring in terms of LEGO but i'm always in for an adventure! Know that i'm hard at work to finally finish my Venice Italy moc. I won't give myself a deadline, but you will see it when it's done!
Thx for alle the comments, feedback, laughs, cries & support i got the past years!
I wish you all the best, Lego-wise and personally, for 2020!
Greetings Barthezz Brick
Círdan was one of the oldest Elves in Middle-earth by the time of the War of the Ring. He was famously a Shipwright, and he and his people built all the ships on which the Elves left Middl-earth to go to Valinor in the West. In the Second Age, he was Gil-galad's lieutenant.
Hope you guys enjoy this one! Dont forget to fave and comment!
And yes, he does indeed have a beard in the books.
This is model of Isengard as it was in the Second Age of Middle Earth. The tower of Orthanc sits in the middle of a lush plain. The MOC was done in nano-scale (smaller than micro-scale).
The hexagon base is Lego Otaku's design.
I built it for LOLUG's May Iron Builder competition. The seed part was the black lightsaber hilt.
Right before the Alliance of Elves, Men and Dwarves prepare to fight Sauron at Dagorlad, Lord Elrond makes a speech. In the end, Sauron will be wounded by not destroyed and years later, the War of the Ring will begin.
EA Canada was clearing out old software and I quickly grabbed these classics! Ultima Underworld, Ultima Underworld II, UO Second Age, UO Renaissance, and UO Lord Blackthorn's Revenge. I only ever had a physical copy of Age of Shadows so it's great to finally have these, maps and all!
The crown started as a solid piece of brass, 4"x 5" x 3/4". Using saw, files, and a lot of polishing, it ended up as what you see.
The Hammer is a stainless steel head on a copper handle. the anvil is carved from a solid piece of brass.
The stars. The 6 smaller stars are carved from carriage bolts, each taking about 8 hours to make. The larger star started as a piece of 1-1/2 stainless round stock welded on a bolt, then carved. This one took almost 11 hours of work.
