Macro Mondays # "Souvenir"
When on holiday, I very seldom bring back souvenirs. However, I do try to look for nice and unusual shells.
This particular shell was purchased in the beautiful seaside town of Whitby, North Yorkshire.
I was playing with a bowl of seashells, and I came up with a couple of shots I liked.
Focus stacked, but not HDR (almost all my shots are HDR, even if they are focus stacked).
This is the test (or shell) of a sea urchin. It was photographed using natural light in southwestern Florida.

Picked some shells from a nearby beach sometime ago.
The smallest shell on top is about half an inch.

Macro Mondays Member's Choice : Texture
This spiral seashell measures 1 1/4'' in diameter. It rests on a glass table that provides an additional texture reminiscent of the sea.
Thank you everyone for your visits, faves, and kind comments
