♂ Aeshna mixta was flying this morning over the Peñarroya chimney pond in the Cartagena seaport. (5% Crop and backlight!)
The blue channel marker here complements the light blue sky and sea. A motor boat is returning from a morning's fishing in Bass Strait, and is about to make its way up the Brid River channel to the boat ramp. It is a perfect Spring day in Bridport, Tasmania.

My caption is a little literary fun. There's a book "Two Years Before The Mast" by Richard Henry Dana, Jr about his two years spent aboard a merchant ship that sailed from Boston to California.

The Inner Harbor is a historic seaport, tourist attraction, and landmark in Baltimore, Maryland. It was described by the Urban Land Institute in 2009 as "the model for post-industrial waterfront redevelopment around the world".[2] The Inner Harbor is located at the mouth of Jones Falls, creating the wide and short northwest branch of the Patapsco River. The district includes any water west of a line drawn between the foot of President Street and the American Visionary Art Museum.
This was taken at the Mystic Seaport museum in Mystic Connecticut. The Mystic Seaport is the largest maritime museum in the world. It is a recreation of an entire seaport village from the 1830s and contains 60 original buildings dating to this historical period. Most of these structures were moved to the site and meticulously restored. You may recognize the museum from the movie Amistad, scenes of which were depicting 1830s New Haven Connecticut.
