I have a hard time posting pictures of my Tweedles, sometimes. Absolutely not b/c I am ashamed or anything of the sort.
I went through years of trying to conceive and met a many women and men that dealt with all different sides of Infertility. We're a community. And while we're happy for anyone who "graduates" and comes out of it, there's still this little thing inside that stings b/c it's not us. I have become so sensitive to that it's kinda crazy. I was such a huge source of support for my circle of IF'ers that when I was "on the other side" I didn't know how to balance the two - even though I have done my best so far.
I recently shut down my personal blog b/c of that, after about 4 years or so of writing. I didn't want to make it seem I was rubbing it in anyone's face. Even though I know they didn't think that. It just felt that way. I know it's a hard, emotional, crazy road and I don't forget it. I just can't.
So.. a little info on these Tweedles. They're fraternal even though they look identical.
And yes, I'm sure.
They're Daddy's mini-me's.
They'll be 2 in 2 weeks and it's been the most amazing 3 years of my life to carry them, feel them move around like little seamonkeys inside, and then have them as solid little dreams in front of me.
Dusty may not have thought things through putting his Sea Monkeys and facehugger in the same aquarium.

I know I'm probably one of the few that just loves these guys and I'm so excited to expand my family with two babies :D (well little ones anyways)
While swimming in the beautiful Sea Monkey pools on Mars, Confection came across a honeymoon pod with a sweet little couple, well honeymooning :D
Ummmm I think I fed my sea monkeys to much cause they growd really big!!! I will release them in the pool cause it's salt water! That will work right???

Like most of my spaceships, this started solely because I wanted to use a certain windscreen. I planned to do a couple color variants, but it seems the only other color I have everything in is black and maybe light bley. Meh.

The Bubbles aren't part of it, but this was a good capture of them too.
OMW I've always loved them and as a kid they lived a long time and I remember turning the water purple then blue while they grew in the different stages. I was sure they were really like this :D

For this year's High Heel Race in DC, we decided to forego the political humor and just go with something cute and lovable (and very, very pink)--Sea-Monkeys!
The Zombie captain found out that today was National Sea Monkey Day. He came up with a plan to hire people to dress up like sea monkeys. He would then charge money for a special Sea Monkey Watching tour.

When you're in the moment you sort of roll with the strangeness, but it's pictures like this of me dressed as a bimbo drag queen sea-monkey in front of a crowd of thousands of people that makes me realize I have unusual hobbies. :)
But I do love that amused look on my face!
The costumes were very silly, but I was actually quite proud with how the tails turned out. This is what you get when you Google "How to make a mermaid tail" and "How to make a dinosaur tail." :)
What can I say, I want to get some credit for my hard work, and it's not a bad view. :) I think we had almost as many people take our pictures from behind as in front!
