Seals at Horsey Beach

Sealed with the tines of a fork, they almost look like I wanted them to. The ones with white stuff inside are, I think, spinach-ricotta. The browner ones are mushroom.

Grey Seals and their pups at a small colony in Shetland. Big waves giving them a hard time at the moment.

Curious harbor seals often lift their heads out of the water to view their surroundings. They are found in coastal waters in the North Pacific and the North Atlantic. What do you think this little fellow has spotted in Stellwagen Bank National Marine Sanctuary?

A regular visitor to Whitecliff bay but was amazed when I was in the sea and it popped up about 10 metres away. How amazing! I had to get out of the water to get the camera, took the shot from the beach because I didn't want to risk taking the camera in the sea.

Taken at Greatham Creek a few miles south of Hartlepool

Alternatively hiding behind rocks, kelp or each other and then rushing the camera to bite, gape and blow bubbles in threat displays, these seals were fabulous to dive with.

Couldn't decide which version I liked best so...
