I was asked about this in a picture which only showed this seafood outlet in a corner, so here's a full view.
I've never tried it, but it usually has a queue of people when it opens and customers know best!
As seen on a walk.

I took this shot after the Mako Seafood float had closed. But I can vouch for their fine seafood chowder. The closest I've come to New England Chowder since Boston days. There are two levels on this float. The bottom one serves fresh fish to cook at home, and the top floor serves cooked seafood.
There was no one around on this chilly summer evening. But the highlight for me here is the way the mountain is gently backlit by the sun which had set quite some time before.
[Best to enlarge this one and look around. In the background you'll see Lark's Distillery and a replica of Douglas Mawson's Antarctic Hut.]
At Domenico's on Fisherman's Wharf in Monterey, California, drop by for some good fresh seafood. And sample their clam chowder. Good stuff, Maynard.
Old pic. Prices are probably MUCH higher now.

The ice fishing was good at one of my favorite lakes. Think this Muskrat had over his limit. A cold day in Western Iowa.

The time I spent for the set up was longer than the time spent for cooking the pasta!
A single strobe was fired through a transparent umbrella slightly above and left of the camera. A silver reflector was placed at the right side to lighten the shadows a bit.

De meeuwen deden zich te goed aan al dat lekkers wat de afgelopen dagen op het strand te vinden was.

A unique restaurant set-up seen in downtown Paducah. Unfortunately this restaurant has been closed for several years.

I had a few thoughts for this week for the Macro Mondays theme of "Stick" but here I have decided to go with my first thought of "Seafood Sticks" which is how it appears on the packaging but they can also be called "Crab Sticks" or "Ocean Sticks" but I guess that's irrelevant as long as they are sticks.
I could have presented them as they are but always one to enjoy eating my subject after photographing it I placed them on some salad and drizzled some Balsamic Dressing all over and sprinkled them with Black Pepper for added visual and taste effect.
Typical wooden building in downtown Key West, Florida. The Bagatelle Seafood Restaurant is another Key West landmark.
This is the way tha a lot of seafood is sold in SE Asia. A lack of refrigeration means that this is the most practical way of keeping food fresh. Most of the fish is then taken from the tank, bashed over the head and sold. Certainly a far cry from the processed and packaged way that I used to see fish being sold!
